Expenses:
The total cost of Expenses for applicants without dependents is US$ 741,70. Breakdown below:

  • Expenses in the National Immigration Service: US$ 329.00 (three hundred and twenty-nine US dollars).
  • Transactional expenses:: US$ 60.00 (sixty US dollars).
  • Ministry of Labor Expenses (Work Permit): : US$ 352.70 (three hundred and fifty-two US dollars with seventy cents).

Legal fees:
The total cost of Legal Fees for the applicant without a dependent is US$1,600.00 (ITBMs tax not included)

  • Residence Permit: : US$ 1,200.00 (one thousand two hundred US dollars) applicant without dependent.
  • Work Permit: : US$ 400.00 (four hundred US dollars) applicant without dependent.

The total cost does not include the payment of:

  • Check payable directly to the National Treasury per applicant and dependent: US$ 250.00 (two hundred and fifty US dollars).
  • Check payable to the National Immigration Service per applicant and dependent: US$ 800.00 (eight hundred US dollars).

NOTE: Checks to the National Immigration Service (US$ 800.00) will not need to be paid if the dependents are under 12 years old. From the age of 12, it will be necessary to pay for it.

The requirements to apply for the Friendly Nations Visa in Panama are the following:

  1. Power of Attorney and Application. Both documents must be notarized and endorsed by a suitable Panamanian attorney.
  2. Three (3) passport size photographs of the permit applicant.
  3. Copy of the applicant's passport (verified before a Panamanian notary or responsible authority).
  4. Criminal Record Certificate from the applicant's country of origin duly apostilled. It must not be more than 3 months old when the documents are presented.
  5. Health Certificate .We can help you obtain it.
  6. Certified Check for B/250.00 in favor of the National Treasury.
  7. Certified Check for B/800.00 in favor of the National Immigration Service
  8. Personal History Affidavit Form . We provide information on it.
  9. Document that demonstrates the purpose of establishing your residence in the country. The documents will depend on the economic activity carried out by the applicant:
    1. If the applicant for this permit is a businessperson, they must attach a written statement indicating the economic activity in which they are engaged, as well as documentation proving that they are a member of the management team or the Board of Directors of the Company they work for or provide services for. If you are a shareholder of a Company, you must demonstrate it using a certification from the public registry of the country where the company was created; in addition, the company must have an Operations Notice in the Republic of Panama. The regulation requires us to also request the applicant’s Work Permit before the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (MITRADEL).
    2. If the applicant is going to dedicate themselves to an activity of a strictly professional nature, they must present proof of the employment contract, as well as evidence that the company that hires them is registered in the Panamanian Social Security system and that they have a Panamanian Social Security card and Work Permit. That is, the objective of this declaration is to provide documents that support your income to be able to live or stay in the country.
  10. Bank certification or the last month’s account statement that reflects a balance of not less than four average figures or another that demonstrates your income and is acceptable to the National Immigration Service.
  11. Proof of address (water, electricity or telephone receipt, or hotel accommodation of the applicant).

Any foreigner can apply for a Multiple Visa in Panama. This visa is requested before the National Immigration Service in Panama once the corresponding Residence Permit has been requested
