VISA UNDER THE MARRAKESH AGREEMENT IN PANAMA

The price for the Residence Permit application under the Marrakesh Agreement category comprises the following expenses: (notary expenses, certifications, paperwork and residence card, multiple visa, mobilization, and transaction expenses, etc.) and Legal Fees.

The total cost amounts to US$ 2,120.00. Below we break down the cost:

Expenses:
The total cost of Expenses for applicants without dependents is US$520.00. Breakdown below:

• Expenses in the National Immigration Service: :US$ 363.00 (three hundred and sixty-three US dollars)
• Transaction fees: : US$ 60,00 (sixty US dollars)
• Ministry of Labor Expenses (Work Permit): : US$ 97,00 (ninety-seven US dollars).

Legal Fees:
The total cost of Legal Fees for the applicant without a dependent is US$1,600.00 (ITBMs tax is not included).Breakdown below:

• Residence permit : US$ 1,200.00 (one thousand two hundred US dollars) applicant without dependent.
• Work Permit: US$ 400,00 (four hundred US dollars) applicant without dependent.

The total cost does not include the payment of:

• Check payable directly to the National Treasury per the applicant and dependent: US$ 250.00 (two hundred and fifty US dollars)
• Check payable to the National Immigration Service per applicant and dependent: US$ 800.00 (eight hundred US dollars).

The requirements to apply for the Visa Under the Marrakesh Agreement are the following:

1. 1. Power of Attorney and Application (notarized).
2. Three (3) passport-size photographs of the permit applicant.
3. Duly revised copy of the passport (notary or corresponding authority).
4. Criminal record duly apostilled..
5. Health certificate..
6. Certified Check for B/.250.00 in favor of the National Treasury.
7. Certified Check for B/.800.00 in favor of the National Immigration Service.
8. Personal History Affidavit Form..
9. Employment contract endorsed by the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development in favor of the interested party.
10. Letter of Employment on company letterhead, signed by the company’s legal representative stating position and salary.
11. Copy of the Company’s Operations Notice..
12. Copy of the company's Public Registry certification..
13. Work permit and copy of the ID..
14. Proof of affiliation to the Social Security Administration and copy of the ID (first request).
15. The Company’s National Revenue Good Standing Certificate (Paz y Salvo)..
16. In the case of dependents:
    1. Letter of responsibility.
    2. Kinship certificate.
    3. Proof of address.
    4. Over 18 years of age, present a certificate of unmarried status and certified studies.

Extension of permission of foreign personnel hired by companies under the Marrakesh Agreement (PPRT-G)

In case of extension, the previous requirements will be presented except for the criminal record certificate, proof of affiliation to the CSS, and checks. Additionally, you must provide:

1. Certification from the Social Security Administration without prejudice of having changed companies on nine (9) consecutive installments.
